Procrastination nonsensicalness

Today I decided I really want to live in a city. At least for some part of my life, maybe even just a year or two. We went to DC today and it was really cool just seeing all the different types of people doing so many different things at once! There was so much life and energy all around and it was awesome. It was also great just to have a change of pace. The inside of that school is starting to look like a prison to me. I’ve also been kind of slacking a little this quarter, unintentionally though. I look at homework, I look at netflix. Homework..?…Netflix…? I think we can all see who the winner is in this situation. I mean come on, Great Expectations? Why would I want to read that? Maybe I should have since now I’m really struggling to write this stupid essay…Oh well, just two weeks until spring break and only a few months until summer!!

Sidenote: I watched an amazing movie yesterday that everyone should watch! It’s called Phoebe in Wonderland. It’s about a little girl who has Tourette’s syndrome, it’s kind of intense and awesome. 

Bridge

The hardest part of growing up is letting go of your childhood and moving on. Growing apart from your past and those who were a big part of it, and leaving behind what was, stepping towards what will be. But the past will always be a peice of who I am and even though life is very different now, I will never forget why I am here. I am in between the worlds of childhood and adulthood. Never sure whether I should look to the past or jump into my future. But for now I’m in the middle watching life move around me, trying not to get motion sickness.

I stole this from margaret. :p each number is a different person who has impacted my life in some way, big or small. (in no particular order)

1. You are creative and have always inspired me. Sometimes we have our bad moments but I love you. So much of who I am has been shaped by you.

2. You have always been my rock. Reliable and calm you have kept the peace while teaching me about right and wrong. You are so hard working and determined and I hope someday I can make you proud.

3. I have always looked up to you. There are soo many things you’ve taught me how to do and with out you I wouldn’t be the same person I am today. We have our differences sometimes but nothing could ever come between us.

4. You have a great sense of humor. You are the easiest person to get along with, even though you like to troll me sometimes. I know I can depend on you. We have so much fun together. It won’t be the same without you next year.

5. I have known you for quite a while now. Our friendship lasted through the hell that was middle school even when everything was changing. I don’t know how I would have gotten through those years without you.

6. You are always there for me and you’re a great friend. Since we met in sixth grade we have become such great friends. I know I can rely on you. I can completly be myself with you and know that you won’t judge me.

7. We have so much fun together. You are a great friend who understands me and all my insanity. You have are fun, bubbly, and very likable.

8. You are the kindest and most caring person I know. You have a heart of gold and I’m so fortunate to be your friend. You have such an admirable determination and sunny disposition.

9. You are so much fun to be around. You always make me laugh and have such a bright personality. Crazy sleepovers would never be the same without you.

10. (group) I love you guys so much. We all met by chance but once we got to know each other we really became a family. I love our craziness and our disney sleepovers. My life would be so different without you guys.

11. (group) My other family away from home. I couldn’t chose a better group of people to see everyday of my life for those three months! We went through so much together but by the end we really grew to trust and love each other. Miss you already.

12. (group) I havn’t seen you guys in forever and I miss you all so much. We had so much fun together and that was one of the best summers of my life. I could really lean on you guys when I needed to. We had some pretty crazy times and it was so much fun. Can’t wait for this summer :)

13. “HEY!” I love our chill seshes like everyday at school. You have such an amazing personality and I’m so glad that I got to know you better this year. We have had some super crazy times and they’ve all been great. Working on this with you has been and will be so epic.

14. You are such a cool person. You never judge me for my strangeness and we have a lot of laughs together. I also love speaking in funny russian accents with you.

15. You have such a bright personality and you can make me feel better when I’m down. You make me laugh and I love our odd situations.

16. You are so much fun to be around! You are an enthusiastic friend and I love our hallway-before-school-chilltime! Drama to of course. You brighten up the room.

17. You are such a great person. I havn’t seen you in a little while but you are so cheerful and kind to everyone. I’m so glad I met you this summer and that we had an awesome skype chat before opening night haha…good times.

18. I’m so glad I met you this summer. You are such a great friend, staying up with me on the phone when I was upset until around three in the morning. You are hilarious and always know how to make people feel better. You really brightened everyone’s mood.

19. I don’t know you very well but I have never made myself so vulnerable before. You are such a nice person and really make people feel at ease. Thank you for being so cool and understanding that day. Things are really awkward now and we havn’t talked in awhile. But I don’t blame you. It was all my fault and wish we could become friends some day.

20. You are like a sister to me. I have known you forever and you are such an awesome person. I admire your strength so much and I know that whatever you do in life will be epic. You are always there for me and I know we got each others backs all the time. I’m so lucky to have you in my life.

chocolate peanut butter sex cakes

This is my recipe (kind of) for these awesome cupcakes I made. One kid’s response was “these are sex.” Hence the name. Anyway Thims told me to post this, so here you go my love!

Ingredients:

* Box of chocolate cake mix, water, eggs (for specific number/measurements read the box) cinnamon applesauce (this replaces the oil, I was supposed to use the original flavor but I grabbed the wrong one and it was fn awesome) chocolate chips, 1 cup peanut butter, 1/2 cup butter-one stick, 4 cups of confectioners sugar, and 1/3 cup milk or cream

1. Preheat your oven. look at the temps on the box for this. It seems like common sense but…you never know. Sometimes you have to remind people.

2. Mix the cake mix, eggs, water, and applesauce together. Add one cup of chocolate chips to the batter.

3. Pour the batter into a cupcake pan with the little paper things. put it in the oven and see the box for baking times, but make sure they cook all the way. The melted chocolate chips make it harder to tell but the batter around it should not be gooey.

4. For the PB Frosting:

-melt the stick of butter a little bit to soften it up and make it easier to work with, 15-20 seconds in the microwave should accomplish this.

- add 1 cup of peanut butter, 1/3 cup cream or milk, and four cups of confectioners sugar and beat it to the consistancy of your liking. It should be insanely delicious at this point, and relativly creamy but it also has a thicker/doughy feel.

5. Frost your beautiful sex cakes and add chocolate chips to the top as desired.

Childhood

Today was one of those days where I just really want to be a little kid again. It was stressful and stupid. I just want my bennie babies and tea time back!! Childhood was so simple but we were all too young to appreciate it. I wish I had understood this back then, but I guess that knowledge would defeat the purpose. I spent too much time trying to grow up I never appreciated the simplicity of childhood. There were so few things we had to worry about when we were younger, but maybe most of these things aren’t worth worring over anyway. Putting the positives in the spotlight can change a whole perspective. My new mission is to live for this moment the best I can.
